Migraines are difficult to explain to someone who has never had one. With a migraine a person has difficult time with vision, he or she may see grey dots floating around, a sharp pain on one side of the head, and sensitivity with light. There are so many triggers that a person needs to be very careful and even aware of these triggers, so to avoid them. What happens if you are suffering with a migraine? Do you categorize them just like the doctor does? For example, 1-5 is just considered a headache because your ability for pain is so high now, so what you do is try over-the-counter remedies. Do you take aspirin such as Tylenol first to relieve the pain? Do you drink water? What happens when the pain is between 6-8? Do you continue to take Tylenol or do you upgrade to Excedrin?
